The “Spring In The Fall” piece, is #2 in the four part series of the Golden spruce tree on Haida Gwaii, centered in each of the four seasons. This salmon is swimming the Yakoun river in October, in the company of the Golden spruce tree. The Golden spruce tree was sacred to the Haida people. This tree was extremely unique but was cut down in a mentally ill environmental protest of one man. What a sad outcome.
